The assurance of our salvation is important!:

The Spirit you received does not make you slaves, so that you live in fear again; rather, the Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship. And by him we cry, “Abba Father.” (Daddy) The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children. Rom. 8:15-16

And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life.” I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may KNOW that you have eternal life. I John 5:11-13

This is how we know that we live in him and he in us: He has given us of his Spirit. And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent his Son to be the Savior of the world. If anyone acknowledges that Jesus is the Son of God, God lives in them and they in God. And so, we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them. This is how love is made complete among us so that we will have confidence on the day of judgement: In this world we are like Jesus. There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love. I John 4:9-18

Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law? Jesus replied, “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself. All the laws and the prophet’s hang on these two commandments. Matt. 22:36-40

Dear Children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth. This is how we know that we belong to the truth and how we set our hearts at rest in his presence. If our heart condemns us , we know that God is greater than our hearts, and he knows everything. Dear friends, if our hearts do not condemn us, we have confidence before God and receive anything from him we ask because we keep his commands and do what pleases him. And this is the command: to believe in his Son, Jesus Christ, and to love one another as he has commanded us. The one who keeps God’s commands live in him, and he in them. And this is how we know that he lives in us. We know it by the Spirit he gave us. I John 3:18-24

What now?

Live out of your true identity, enjoying your oneness with Christ and following Him.

Don’t you realize that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, who lives in you and was given to you by God? You do not belong to yourself, for God bought you with a high price. So, you must honor God with your body. I Cor. 6:19-20

I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. Gal. 2:20

Remember:

My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one can snatch them out of my Father’s hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all, no one can snatch them out of my Father’s hand. I and the Father are one. John 10:27-29

If you love me, keep my commands. And I will ask the Father and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever – the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him for he lives with you and will be in you. On that day you will realize that I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I am in you. I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you. Before long, the world will not see me anymore, but you will see me. Because I live you also will live. John 14:15-20

For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. Ephesians 2:10

There remains, then, a Sabbath-rest for the people of God; for anyone who enters God’s rest also rests from their works, just as God did from his. Let us, therefore make every effort to enter that rest, …

If we died with him, we will also live with him. If we endure, we will also reign with him, if we disown him, he will disown us, If we are faithless, he remains faithful, for he cannot disown himself. II Tim. 2:11-13

There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus. Romans 8:1

As you enjoy your oneness with Christ, he will guide you, enable you, strengthen you and do His works through you. Ask him to give you an assurance of your salvation if you struggle.
